Practical guidance, not hype

Straightforward help for getting set up and finding customers, written in plain English.

Getting started

Setup checklist

  • Describe what you sell in plain language, including the problem it solves.
  • Create your first Scout with a handful of keywords or phrases a real customer might use.
  • Review your first batch of results and mark which ones are genuinely relevant - this helps you calibrate the Scout.
  • Set aside a regular time each week to review new opportunities rather than letting them pile up.
  • If you're unsure how any of this works end-to-end, read the how it works page.

Guide

Lead generation guide

Finding potential customers publicly discussing a relevant problem is only the first step. Here's a simple way to work through what Scaleify surfaces:

1. Read before you act

Read the actual public post or listing behind a result. Don't rely on the score alone - confirm it's a real fit.

2. Prioritize, don't chase everything

Focus on the handful of opportunities that most clearly match what you offer rather than trying to respond to every result.

3. Reference specifics

When you do reach out, mention the specific thing that was said publicly. Generic messages get ignored; specific ones get read.

4. Track what works

Keep a simple record of which types of signals actually turn into conversations, and adjust your Scout over time.

Outreach message structure

1) Reference what they said publicly. 2) Briefly explain how you might help. 3) Ask a low-pressure question to open a conversation. Keep it short - three or four sentences is usually enough.

Follow-up cadence

If there's no response, a single polite follow-up after a few days is reasonable. After that, move on - repeated follow-ups on a public, cold contact tend to do more harm than good.

Qualifying questions

Ask what they've already tried, what timeline they're working with, and what a good outcome would look like for them. This tells you quickly whether it's worth investing more time.
